DTF Heat Press Instructions – Cold Peel Application | High Pressure for Cotton & Polyester

Achieve flawless results with our Direct-to-Film (DTF) heat press instructions, tailored for optimal transfer on cotton, polyester, synthetic fabrics, and blends. These precise guidelines help ensure your designs adhere smoothly, retain vibrant color, and last through repeated wear and washes.

Heat Press Settings:

For Cotton:
300–320°F | 8–15 seconds | High pressure

For Polyester, Synthetics & Blends:
260–275°F | 8–15 seconds | High pressure

Peel Method:
Cold peel – allow transfer to cool completely before peeling slowly from one corner

Repressing:
Repress for 5 seconds using parchment paper or a thick cotton cloth to lock in the design and finish

Pro Tips:

• Always pre-press garments for 8–10 seconds to remove moisture

• Maintain even pressure and accurate temperature for best adhesion

• Repressing ensures a softer, longer-lasting finish on the fabric
